IRIS NFP Solutions announces new organisational and management structure
IRIS NFP Solutions, the number one provider of fully web integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Membership Management and Fundraising solutions to the not-for-profit sector, has announced details of a new organisational and management structure.
The announcement follows the recent acquisition of Donor Strategy in October 2008 which strengthened IRIS’ market leading position and increased the number of not-for-profit organisations IRIS partners with, to more than 1,000.
A new IRIS NFP management team that brings together a wealth of experience will be led by Simon Fowler, who has been appointed Managing Director. Carrie Goodbourn, formerly Managing Director of IRIS CARE, has been appointed as Head of Product Management. Both Simon and Carrie have been instrumental in gaining recognition for IRIS as the number one provider in the NFP sector with 54% of the top 100 UK charities now using the company’s solutions.
John Stephen is appointed as Head of Professional Services, a new role that suits John’s specific NFP experience gained most recently with the Charities Aid Foundation. Rob Barr, who has been part of the NFP team for over 8 years with specialisms in business process analysis and IT solution development, is appointed Head of Sales & Marketing. Rob has been involved in core database replacement projects for over 40 not-for-profit organisations.
Justin Healey joins as Head of Development. Previously, he held senior R&D positions at major software vendors Multisoft and Sage. Justin brings with him operational development team experience that will be utilised in strategically aligning the development plans for IRIS NFP Solutions with customer requirements. Andy Moss is appointed Head of Support having most recently held the position of Operations Manager for IRIS NFP Solutions. He has over 20 years direct experience of IT and the NFP sector.
The enlarged division will be supported by two regional Centres of Excellence; one in the South East (Wimbledon) and one in the South West (Pill, nr Bristol – formerly Donor Strategy offices), in a move designed to enhance efficiency. By uniting the workforce and keeping the product management, development and customer support operations in close geographical proximity to one another, communication will be enhanced and the organisation can be certain that it consistently delivers the highly relevant software demanded by the sector.
Simon Fowler, MD, commented: “The creation of the new NFP team with extensive market and customer knowledge will ensure the delivery of a product and technology strategy that strengthens IRIS’ market-leading position.”
“With so much consolidation in the market place, it is vital that not-for-profit organisations have the security of a major, financially-stable, UK-focused software and services business that is committed to the long-term and to the NFP sector. The changes we are implementing will enable us to meet the challenges of this fluid economic climate and allow us to focus on enhanced product development, customer support and training.”
