Donor Strategy survey with chance to win camcorder

The winner of the Donor Strategy annual market research prize draw is Laura Weston, Development Director at Kingston Grammar School. The prize this year was a Sony camcorder. Congratulations Laura from the team at Donor Strategy!

Each spring Donor Strategy undertake market research with a quality prize incentive for taking part. This year participants have the chance to win a Sony camcorder.

Charity workers, particularly fundraisers, were the target audience. 

Donor Strategy are researching a number of elements including:

Managing Director, Jonathan Air, comments: ‘Our research is about keeping in-tune with the sector and delivering relevant software.’ He continues: ‘We have also been carrying out the survey at recent major events so we don’t limit research to web users.’

In 2007, Donor Strategy researched how charities look for a database supplier and what factors are most important. Asking other organisations ranked highly, with functionality and ease of use often being more significant than cost. Over 120 participants took part.

Individual feedback will be treated in confidence; however, general analysis of the survey may be made public. All participants who supply their contact details will be entered into a FREE prize draw to win a new Sony, Digital Video Camera. This draw is open to all members of the public, excluding those employed by Donor Strategy. The draw will take place on Thursday 17th April 2008, when the winner will be notified by email or telephone. We will not email participants unless requested. Donor Strategy's decision is final.
