Major Donor Relationship Module for IRIS Donor Strategy

20th Jan 2010

IRIS NFP Solutions launches a Major Donor Relationship Module to enable smaller charities to make the most of their biggest givers.

IRIS, the not-for-profit sector specialist software and services provider, today announced details of a new module for IRIS Donor Strategy. The Major Donor Relationship Module has been designed to help smaller to medium sized charities excel in Major Donor Fundraising and facilitate best practice in this specialist discipline.

Tony Davey, Product Manager for IRIS Donor Strategy, comments: "Many smaller charities will have significantly wealthy people on their database. Identifying and developing relationships with these high-value givers is a time consuming and essential task - the delicacy of which often involves the most senior members of the team. Whilst basic recording of details is simple, tracking a ‘cultivation status' and keeping all stakeholders informed of the progress made is more complex."

"The Major Donor Relationship Module will enable charities to record the capacity and propensity for high-value donors to give, along with interests and sympathies," Davey continues. "This will allow them to accurately review Major Donors and present the best possible case for support at the appropriate level. We have listened to the needs of our clients and are pleased to launch the Major Donor Relationship Module to empower smaller to medium sized charities in this art."

The CRM facilities in IRIS Donor Strategy combined with the Major Donor Relationship Module will deliver significant time and cost savings, as well as increased income.  These enhancements include providing greater visibility of high-value givers, reducing the effort needed to nurture Major Donors,  improving communication between relevant parties, and maximising the opportunities to gain increased levels of support.
